This is the newest version of the side cover with the additional (3rd) locating pin / dowel pin. The additional dowel pin is located at approximately the 1:00 oclock position. It does not fit on the older blocks!! The gaskets are not interchangeable either!
Currently the proper gasket, the crank seal and one oil fill plug is included with the cover.
The old version 555706 is no longer available. However I have some very good used ones. Search for 555706
