SVC- Smart Valve Cover has the Clone bolt pattern. It does not fit the stock cast Briggs head.
The SVC is more than just a billet valve cover. It was designed around a function; to have better oil control and keep oil in the crankcase where it's needed. The external breather bypass is built into this valve cover and is required for use with our billet head because this head doesn't utilize the internal breather passage. (Stock heads have a passage in the head gasket surface for oil control. Our billet heads do not have a passage machined in the head gasket surface for oil control) Additionally, stock 206 blocks have a oil control passage drilled from the upper right hand corner of the block down into the crankcase for oil control. The point is if you race on an oval or a track with a lot of high speed left hand turns centrifugal force puts the majority of the oil in the crankcase on the same side of the engine as this oil passage. This oil passage on the right side of the cylinder can become an expressway for oil to build up in the valve cover.
The SVC has 3 chambers to separate oil out of the breather so the oil that ends up in the valve cover can be returned to the crankcase where the majority of it is needed. The SVC uses the oil from the bypass to directly lube the rocker arms. The breather chambers work to separate oil out of the breather outlet for less carry over and better oil control. With a functioning carbon fiber breather reed it helps keep the crank case pressure low to aid in ring seal and reducing leaking gaskets.
The breather bypass hose and fitting is included with the valve cover.
