These BILLET SIDE COVERS add strength and rigidity to the block and will increase power and promote longevity. They help stabilize the block and cylinder as well as help prevent crankshaft flexing. Flexing of the crankshaft can be disastrous and contribute crankshaft and block breakage.
This billet side cover is made from 6061 aluminum with ample support for the block, cam and crankshaft. It is the heaviest billet side cover on the market.
It is available in single bearing for the stock stroke Briggs crank ($169.95) and dual bearing for the stroker cranks ($179.95)
It also has provisions for adding an additional bearing on the outboard end of the crank. (outboard of the clutch)
